Faculty Workshop Grants
Call for Applications 2011–12
Deadline: November 1, 2011
The Blinken European Institute is pleased to offer up to three grants for faculty-led projects to be completed by June 2013, up to a maximum of $15,000 per project.
We invite colleagues to submit proposals for European-oriented projects with a social- scientific/humanistic edge and for innovative teaching programs with a European focus. Projects can be pursued at Columbia University or under the auspices of the Columbia Global Centers│Europe at Reid Hall in Paris, and also in cooperation with other Global Centers (e.g. Istanbul).
We will prioritize projects that identify the Columbia Global Centers│Europe as a gateway for meeting the goals named above; in addition, we will prioritize those projects that aim to develop innovative Europe-focused curriculum, linking faculties in the Arts & Sciences and schools of practice.
Please note: Blinken European Institute monies may be combined with funds provided by ISERP, the Alliance Program, or the Heyman Center for the Humanities.
Please submit completed proposals electronically to the BEI Program Coordinator, Lily Glenn, at email@example.com by November 1, 2011.
