Lecture: The failure of education and the current state of the Arab world

Professor Masri is the Executive Vice President for Global Centers and Global Development at Columbia University. His current area of interest and study is global education with an emphasis on education reform in the Middle East. Professor Masri was Vice Dean of Columbia Business School for 13 years; he has consulted widely on operations management, particularly supply chain management.

Professor Masri will speak on the topic “The failure of education and the current state of the Arab world”, and then take questions from the audience. There will then be an opportunity for networking over tea and coffee.

This lecture is free and open to all on a first-come, first-served basis, but you must pre-register to attend (see below), and please bring your photo ID (national ID card or similar) with you on the day. Please note that this event will commence at 11am sharp, with minimal introductions; late-comers may not be admitted.
