Columbia Signs Agreement with Universidad Católica in Chile

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Vice-Dean of The Universidad Católica, Dr. Guillermo Marshall, and Dr. Shear, director at the Center for Complicated Grief at Columbia University, outlining the areas of potential collaboration between the two institutions. The Dec. 18, 2012, event followed a lecture given by Dr. Katherine Shear.

A great success was the lecture on how to diagnose and treat complicate grief disorder given by Dr. Katherine Shear, Marion E. Kenworthy Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University’s School of Social Work and director of the Center for Complicated Grief.
