The program “Succession: The Entrepreneurial Family transition through multiple perspectives” is a partnership between Columbia University and FGV/EAESP. In this program, themes such as family succession and transition will be addressed through multiple perspectives by Professors from Columbia University and form FGV/EAESP with simultaneous translation. Besides the case studies discussed by the Professors, Family Entrepreneurs and Professionals will share their own experiences. In this context, the program will allow participants to know and discuss challenges, experiences, good practices and trends in the process of succession through the family business outlook.
About the Professors
Patrícia Angus (Columbia Business School) is Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School and founder of the Angus Advisory Group, one of the world’s biggest references in strategic and legal family business advisory. The Angus Advisory Group has over 20 years of experience in both medium and large corporations inside and outside of the United States.
Vicky Bloch (FGV/EAESP) is Psychologist, Coaching Professional and Entrepreneurial Consultant. She’s a specialist advisor in impactful decision making on succession in family companies. She’s founded and was president of DBM, a consulting company, in Brazil and in Latin America for 18 years. She’s a specialist in replacing businessmen on the market. She’s currently a Professor of Human Resources specialization course in FGV-SP and FIA and CEO at Vicky Bloch Associados, a consulting company.
Marcelo P. Binder (FGV/EAESP) is a Professor at EAESP/FGV since 2003. He founded the Family Business Center and was responsible for the introduction of the family business theme in the School’s courses. He has over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurial consulting and is currently the Director of Leadership Pipeline Institute for Brazil and a partner in Prakse Consultoria, a consulting company. He holds a Doctoral degree from EAESP/FGV and a Specialist degree from Harvard Business School.
