Jacqueline graduated from Yale College magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology in 2018 and earned a certificate from the Center for Arabic Study Abroad in Amman in 2019. She previously conducted ethnographic research in Jordan on “Localization in Humanitarian Practice,” a project that addressed workplace dynamics and multiculturalism in Jordan-based NGOs. She is passionate about language education (including both Arabic pedagogy and Teaching English as a Second or Other Language), gender and sexuality studies, and movements for migrant justice.
Jacqueline joined the Center in September 2021 and is currently the Research Assistant to the EVP. Previously, she worked at the American Center of Research (ACOR) in Amman, where she was responsible for digital communications, fundraising and outreach strategy, public lecture programs, and student internships.
