Teresa joined the Global Centers as a communications consultant in October 2015, focused on creating an engagement presentation format for the Center's board of directors. After a successful campaign, Teresa joined the staff as a full-time Program Officer.

Teresa has worked extensively at Brazil's highest-ranking think-tank, FGV, managing international exchange and overseeing the communications staff. Her work was highly recognized by the foundation's directors, earning her an award for innovation in 2013.

Her professional background includes managing projects in Germany with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and in France with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Teresa's international background includes 2 years at the Emma Willard School, in New York, and 4 years in Scotland where she graduated from the University of Saint Andrews.
