Ohimai, 36, is a Nigerian journalist with a multi-sectoral background spanning communications, civil society and governance. He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan where he obtained a B.A. degree in English and French. In 2009, he was appointed a Microsoft ambassador in the campaign against cybercrime in Nigeria and set a record as Nigeria’s youngest presidential campaign manager in 2010. He served as a ministerial advisor in four federal ministries from 2011 to 2015 and later as Coordinator of Ghana At Work. He has published SignalNg, an online newspaper since 2015 and was presenter of Kakaaki Social, a daily television show viewed by millions of Nigerians at the time he fled arrest in June 2019 over threats of treason and incitement by the Nigerian government. Ohimai, now an asylee in the United States, is the host of #TheFixWithOhimai. He is married to British-trained fashion designer Tessy and currently enrolled in the M.A. Politics program at Columbia Journalism School.
