Columbia Global Centers | Beijing, Career Placement Office of Columbia Business School, and Graduate Career Development of Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences will jointly host a panel discussion to provide Columbia students with an opportunity to connect with alumni and industry leaders, and learn from their career paths.

Amber XU

Amber XUDirector of Overseas Department at

Xu graduated from University of California, Davis with more than 7 years’ experience of studying and working abroad. She once hosted positions in financial, cultural and entertainments start-up companies. Xu joined since 2015 and was devoted herself in exploring and developing overseas business. She leads many marketing activities in such as “Elite Club”, Overseas Intelligent Alliance, Overseas Universities Campus Tour etc., winning unanimous recognition from clients. She works with many well-known employers including TenCent, SF, Vanke, China Resources, FAW-Volkswagen, BAIC, Ping An, China Mobile Suzhou Research Institute, Country Garden, Foshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, State Administration Foreign Experts Affairs, Vivo, Oppo, Zijin Mining etc.


Bo Huang

Dr. Bo HUANG SEAS '14, Executive Director & Portfolio Manager at Jasper Capital

Dr. Huang oversees technical signal research and production, which includes analyzing low/high frequency market data, generating high quality alpha factors using statistical modeling and machine learning, applying machine learning models on dynamic factor integration. He is also responsible for developing mid/high frequency strategies. Before joining Jasper Capital, he gained crucial financial expertise as a portfolio manager at Infore Capital Management. Dr. Huang started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Arxis Capital LLC split-off) in the U.S. as a quantitative strategist. He holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering and operation research from Columbia University.


Zhuxi Cai

Zhuxi CAI GSAS '14, Data Scientist at Harvest Fun

Cai is a Data Scientist at Harvest Fund. He specializes in risk modeling and machine learning. Prior to joining Harvest Fund, Cai previously worked as data scientist at JD and DiDi.
