Congratulations on your admission to Columbia University!

Columbia University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CUCSSA) and Columbia Global Centers｜Beijing invite you to attend a Columbia-wide welcome event for all newly admitted students in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Chengdu.

This event will provide you with a unique opportunity to:

• Connect with other admitted students from different schools, and make new friends before the school year begins;
• Hear directly from current students and recent alumni as they share their experiences of campus life and useful tips for living in New York;
• Learn about the academic resources and employment opportunities provided by the University and Columbia Global Centers to help you succeed.

Registration

Those who have successfully registered will receive the confirmation emails, which will include event details, event address, and subsequent procedures of participation.

Agenda

The events in Beijing and Shanghai will be broken up into morning and afternoon sessions to ensure appropriate health and safety distancing requirements. Students can register and attend any one of the two sessions.

Session 1: 10:00AM - 12:00PM

Session 2: 3:00PM - 6:00PM

The events in Shenzhen and Chengdu will only have a one-afternoon session.

One-afternoon Session: 3:00PM - 6:00PM

Reminders

• The specific event addresses in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Chengdu are to be determined and students will be notified of the addresses in the registration confirmation email.

• Please note that the offline events may be affected by local epidemic prevention policies. Students will be notified via email if the offline events need to be changed to a virtual format.
