Do we underestimate our ability to affect change? Can communities become self-sufficient by leveraging their identities and environments? Can a nation’s heritage become the foundation upon which its brightest future is built? Manvendra Singh Shekhawat will unpack these questions and explore future possibilities.

Manvendra Singh Shekhawat is the Managing Director at the MRS Group. His work is a representation of a unique way of life, carefully preserving traditions of the past yet framing them in a modern idiom. Manvendra's hotels take the path less traveled and his NGO, I Love Jaisalmer, was responsible for launching the largest cleanliness and conservation drive in Jaisalmer, a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Manvendra aspires to connect heritage, human potential, diversity and technology to create regenerative ecosystems. Among other things, he is currently working on restoring old forts and palaces, reviving a UNESCO World Heritage Site and creating a 500-acre neighborhood that will empower communities and individuals to realize their truest potential.
