The Fourth No-Boundaries International Art Exhibition Opening Ceremony in Beijing and Arts Education Panel Discussion

From Sept. 7 to 15, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing will host the Fourth No-Boundaries International Art Exhibition in Beijing, with an opening ceremony and a panel discussion on arts education for youth and children on Sept. 7. The exhibition this year features 150 artworks by children in grades K-12 from 15 countries. Under the theme for this year "A Drop of Water," the exhibition encourages exploration of the relationship between human beings and water through art.

About the panel discussion

The panel aims to provide a study and exchange platform for educators who encourage their students to participate in the Fourth NOBO Exhibition. Attendees will have an in-depth discussion with the academic advisors of NOBO on how the theme of “A drop of water” can contribute to fostering global awareness and social responsibility among young citizens in a global context.

Panelists include:

  • Yunlan HE, painter and early childhood educator
  • Shaochun YIN, director of the Children's Arts and Arts Committee of the China Artists Association, PhD supervisor of the Capital Normal University
  • Wei ZHEN, deputy director and PhD supervisor of the Aesthetic Education Center of Beijing Normal University
  • Peng GAO, director of Today Art Museum
