A five-day workshop on social entrepreneurship was held at the Amman Center and included lectures about how entrepreneurship is changing the world, how Jordanian students can be a part of that change, and meetings with successful entrepreneurs sharing their lessons as master innovators.

The course that was developed for the workshop encouraged 22 local students to put their skills to the test by working in teams to design ventures and present them at the conclusion of the program. It incorporated online learning and collaboration, reflective of industry discussions of “future of work.” The workshop incorporated flipped teaching, with recordings of course content and online sessions.

The workshop was developed in partnership with Building Blocks, a student-run organization working to inspire, educate and launch the next generation of student entrepreneurs.
