Length of Commitment: One year

Professors Eric Verhoogen (Columbia University) and Giacomo De Giorgi (University of Geneva) and Aminur Rahman of the World Bank are looking for a project manager for a randomized trial of export promotion programs in Tunisia. The position will involve working closely with the Tunisian government export-promotion agency and the researchers on all aspects of the project, including supervision of data collection. French and English language ability required, Arabic preferred. Position requires residence in Tunis.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong quantitative background
  • Strong computer skills including programming
  • Ability to work independently
  • Long-term interest in pursuing a PhD in economics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in economics and randomized evaluations a plus, but not necessary.
  • Prior research assistant experience strongly preferred
