Information Session: MPA in Economic Policy Management

Columbia alumni, prospective students, policy makers and economists are invited to attend a special event with Patricia C. Mosser from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and Luis Felipe Céspedes, Chile’s former Minister of Economy.

Mosser and Céspedes will present SIPA’s MPA in Economic Policy Management (PEPM) and offer insights into studying in this one-year program focused on providing policymakers and professionals with the skills to effectively design and implement economic policy. David Caughlin, Associate Director of the program, will also talk about other master degrees offered by SIPA. Alums of the program will be in attendance to share their experience:

  • Juan Pablo Cortese, Consultant at the Ministry of Social Development
  • Alexander Hazbun, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Inventures
  • Andrés Osorio, Director of the Office of Productivity and National Entrepreneurship (OPEN)

Patricia C. Mosser is a Senior Research Scholar and Senior Fellow at SIPA, Director of the Initiative on Central Banking and Financial Policy and Director of the MPA in Economic Policy Management. 

Luis Felipe Céspedes is a Visiting Professor within the MPA in Economic Policy Management, teaching Macroeconomics Laboratory with Professor Guillermo Calvo.  He is also a professor at the School of Business at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
