Please save the date for one of the coolest ways to ring in the New Year of 2016 with Professor Richard Peña from Columbia University School of the Arts. Professor Peña had served as the Director of the New York Film Festival for 25 years from 1988 to 2012, and he is still its Director Emeritus. He is a Visiting professor in Film Studies at Harvard University this year.
Columbia Global Centers | Beijing will host in collaboration with Columbia University School of the Arts a series of events themed on “On the Margins of American Cinema” in which Professor Peña will share his expert insights on the American cinema, cutting-edge film theories and the current international film business from Jan. 6 to Jan. 14, 2016.
