Columbia Global Centers | Mumbai, in partnership with Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, invites you to a workshop on writing college essays which will guide you through the entire exercise - right from strategizing to drafting to revising your essay, as well as show you how to take your writing to the next level. 

The workshop will also offer a glimpse into the numerous co-curricular modules offered as part of Columbia University’s Summer Immersion Program for High School Students. 

About the Speaker:

Anita Weiss is the Assistant Director of Recruitment for Pre-College Programs at Columbia University. Prior to joining Columbia University, she was an appellate attorney, and for over a decade, she ran a private college consultation service specializing in teaching students how to write college application essays. She was repeatedly invited to present writing workshops for schools and law firms in Arizona. Ms. Weiss has been writing and teaching writing professionally for over two decades.
