The inaugural Yusuf Hamied Distinguished Lecture will be held at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. The Hamied Lecture honors outstanding individuals whose work has advanced the understanding of global health challenges. Professor K Srinath Reddy, President of the Public Health Foundation of India will be the speaker for this lecture entitled 'Public Health: A Bridge Between Science and Society'.

K. Srinath Reddy

A trained epidemiologist and cardiologist, Dr. Reddy is a world-renowned expert in cardiovascular health, tobacco control, chronic disease prevention, and health across the life course. He is an avid researcher, educator, policy expert, and advocate.
