In Fall 2012, the Mailman School of Public Health introduced a breakthrough MPH curriculum that set a new standard for public health education. The result of an intensive schoolwide effort and investment is a curriculum that provides the broad systemic understanding, critical thinking skills, and leadership training needed to tackle today’s complex public health challenges. Dr. Julie Kornfeld, Vice Dean for Education and Associate Professor of Epidemiology, will present the MPH program. Also, a representative of the Lemann Foundation will explain the scholarship program they have designed for the MPH program.
Faculty from Mailman will be at the info session as well. Dr. Charles Branas, Chair of the Department of Epidemiology, will be at the event to give an overview of his most recent research in public health.
The info session will be held in English and there WON'T be simultaneous translation.
