The event will be held in São Paulo, at the headquarters of the Federation and will discuss the prospects for growth of the Brazilian economy in the context of the new government. It will be open to the public and will bring together authorities and scholars from Brazil in their economic, political and international spheres.
Columbia Global Centers | Rio de Janeiro director Thomas Trebat and Columbia University's Center for Global Economic Governance economist Jan Svejnar will kick off the event. In the sequence, the Secretary of the National Treasury, Mansueto de Almeida will make his speech.
The conference, in Brazil, will be divided into four panels and will address the country's fiscal and monetary policies, the new government's priorities for economic recovery, ideas for Brazil to grow and challenges for the international scenario.
