VR/AR applications in education and other fields

On April 13, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invites you to the fourth panel discussion of Columbia Beijing Education Panel Series, discussing the VR/AR applications in education and other industries.

The event will review the development of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and the latest applications in the fields of game, entertainment, arts, tourist navigation, military, medical treatment, industry, and daily life. The event will also share the educational application cases from VR/AR+Education Lab at Beijing Normal University, including Goldman Sachs Ants (mathematics), double-slit (physics), photoelectric effect (physics), interactive material world (chemistry), the sun and the eight planets (English), rainbow (science), and 3D projection.

Lecturers from other schools will also join the event online to share their experiences using VR and AR. Participants include Chen QI from the Branch of Beijing No.50 Middle School, Rui SHANG from Helong Middle School, and Nana WANG from Funan No.1 Primary School.
