Around 800 million women are expected to join the global economy between 2012-2022. However, women are significantly under-represented in leadership positions, both in India and globally. The Columbia Alumni Association of India has organized a panel discussion with eminent women in leadership positions to provide insights on the challenges faced by them in their journey from young professionals to leadership positions, how they navigate organizational goals and how are they trying to create gender balanced environments.
The panel consists of Dr. Ravina Aggarwal, Director, Columbia Global Centers | Mumbai; Anumita Roy Chowdhury, Executive Director, Centre for Science and Environment, and; Vaishali Nigam Sinha, Director, ReNew Power and Founder and CEO, iCharity.
