The Women Who Built Reid Hall: Artists, Radicals, and Visionaries

March 29, 2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

A conversation between Brune Biebuyck, Administrative Director of the Paris Center, and Meredith J. Levin, Western European Humanities Librarian. Moderated by Krista Faurie, Operations and Projects Manager, CGC | Paris.

Reid Hall never stops revealing its secrets to all who pass through its doors, and that has always been the case. One of Montparnasse’s crown jewels, a place suffused with history and yet so vibrantly present in our 21st-century context.

From the 19th century to today, it has largely been women who have shaped, guided, and directed the space. This property has been a witness to and catalyst for remarkable events and people. Join us as we discuss the female artists, radicals, and visionaries of Reid Hall's past, whose intellect and talent have forged its unique essence and character.
