Columbia students in 14 international locations had access to Columbia-designated study and community spaces, while others in more than 50 cities worldwide gain access to WeWork facilities in their country.

After an intense year of mentorship and support, the 2019-2020 Urban Works Innovation Challenge culminated in an engaging Demonstration Day on September 29, 2020 as the winning startups presented their tech solutions before a very distinguished panel of investors and Columbia alumni advisors.

To support meaningful internship experiences for Columbia students in spite of disruptions caused by Covid-19, the network of Columbia Global Centers launched the inaugural Global Virtual Internship program this summer. The Mumbai Center placed 14 interns in the ares of sustainable engineering solutions, arts and culture, public health, and urban biodiversity.
