Members of the Columbia Alumni Club of Chile kicked off the year with its first activity: a mid-January visit to Start-Up Chile, the country's startup accelerator.
Since its creation by the government in 2010, Start-Up Chile has financed 2,000 new companies from 140 countries through US$30 million in public investment and US$120 million in private funding. During the visit, startup founders presented their companies.
