Gracia Dalgalarrando, an alumna of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, SIPA (MPA ’15) and founder of WoomUp, a venture that seeks to promote mentorship networks among women, traveled to National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) to participate in the 2018 Asia-Pacific Youth Forum on Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Dalgalarrando spoke about WoomUp in a panel dedicated to female entrepreneurs who have made positive contributions to APEC’s member economies in the digital age. WoomUp operates an app which is now available on mobile phones and has over 5,000 members. In 2017 Dalgalarrando received an APEC award for Most Innovative Business Model in Vietnam.
