Alumni Spotlight: Isabel Aninat Appointed Dean of Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez

Isabel Aninat (LAW ’13) assumed the role of Dean of the Law School at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) in June.

Before stepping into her new position, Aninat was a researcher at the Centro de Estudios Públicos (CEP). She has co-edited three books and authored numerous articles on law and public policy.

“I decided to take on this challenge because the way we train future lawyers is a way of contributing to the country. The impact our graduates can have as professionals can make a real difference in their various fields of practice,” she said.

Aninat is also one of five Chilean alumnae sponsored by the Santiago Center last year travel to Columbia University and participate in the intensive three-day Women in Leadership Workshop, offered by Columbia Business School Executive Education.
