On July 20, Dr. Les Joynes, Visiting Scholar in Art and Education at Columbia University, visited Columbia Global Centers | Beijing to join an event of "Columbia Beijing Summer" arts series. Dr. Joynes spoke about his contributions to the new wave of intercultural arts research and FormLAB's recent exhibitions in Brazil, Mongolia, and China. His presentation highlighted how interdisciplinary artists and academics now combine research, collaboration, and exchange to build mutual understanding through arts.

After the public lecture, Dr. Joynes presented his book, Draw: Mapping Madness, to the Beijing Center.

The event attracted more than 30 attendees, and more than 63,000 people watched live through iFeng live-streaming.
