On July 22, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing held a panel discussion featuring Teachers College alumni and an exclusive reception for the new students of Teachers College.
During the panel discussion, three TC alumni talked about their wonderful journeys at Teachers College, including what they have learned and what they have accomplished.
Ms. Cindy Lin, a Ph.D. candidate at Teachers College, shared her experience in promoting leadership education and career development education in the middle schools in China. Ms. Nancy Shi focused on the social function and the fundamental purposes of education. Mr. Yuan, a current employee at Moonshooter Academy, shared how TC pushed him to follow his dream and enabled him to be a successful educator.
At 5 p.m., a reception for the new students of Teachers College was held successfully. Columbia Global Centers | Beijing congratulated them for being enrolled by Teachers College and invited outstanding alumni to introduce the school as well as life in New York City to all the new students.
