In early October, over 80 Chilean students at Columbia University came together for a vibrant happy hour on campus, fostering connections and camaraderie. Organized by the Santiago Center in collaboration with the Columbia Alumni Club of Chile, the event served as a warm gathering point for Chilean students across diverse academic programs.
The attendees, half of whom were women, are pursuing graduate degrees across nearly every school at Columbia, including SIPA, Law, Business, SEAS, Arts, GSAPP, Journalism, and Teachers College. This diverse representation highlighted the breadth of academic engagement by Chilean students at the university and their significant presence in various disciplines.
The event underscored the strength of the Columbia community and the Santiago Center's role in building connections among students and alumni.
