CIFLTE Teacher Training Programs Workshop Held

On March 17, the Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) of Columbia University Teachers College held a workshop for its two teacher training programs at Columbia Global Centers | Beijing. Dr. LIU Lening, Director of the Confucius Institute at Columbia University and Director of the Chinese Language Program, was invited to attend the event.

On March 17, the Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) of Columbia University Teachers College held a workshop for its two teacher training programs at Columbia Global Centers | Beijing. Dr. LIU Lening, Director of the Confucius Institute at Columbia University and Director of the Chinese Language Program, was invited to attend the event.

During the workshop, Dr. LIU introduced the TCSOL one-year certificate program in New York City and the TCSOL/TESOL Summer Dual Certificate Program in Beijing. He then gave some examples on teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

The event attracted around 30 participants. More than 10,000 people watched live via iFeng live-streaming.
