Columbia University School of Professional Studies Programs – Information Session Held Successfully

On October 24, Columbia University School of Professional Studies successfully held an information session in Columbia Global Centers | Beijing. David Madigan, Ph.D., Executive Vice-President for Arts & Sciences, and Dean of the Faculty, addressed a speech on “The University in the Global Age”.

On October 24, Columbia University School of Professional Studies successfully held an information session in Columbia Global Centers | Beijing. David Madigan, Ph.D., Executive Vice-President for Arts & Sciences, and Dean of the Faculty, addressed a speech on “The University in the Global Age”. Jason Wingard, Ph.D., Dean and Professor of the School of Professional Studies gave a lecture titled "Emerging Trends and Professional Education", and Professor Vince Gennaro, Professor Robert Klitzman and Professor Lina Xu joined and delivered addresses regarding their programs. The Information Session covered most programs that School of Professional Studies offers, including the Masters Programs, Certification Programs, Visiting Student Program, Summer Sessions, 4+1 Programs and more. Over 50 participants join the events.

After the speeches, participants had chances to asked professors in-depth questions regarding the programs and application requirements during the reception, and gained better understanding about the school and programs they want to apply.
