Columbia University School of Social Work Programs Admissions Information Session and Faculty Lecture in Beijing Held Successfully

On October 23rd, Columbia University's School of Social Work successfully held an information session and faculty lecture in Grand Skylight CATIC Hotel Beijing. Dr. Jeanette C. Takamura, Dean of the School, faculty, and administrators including admissions staff attended the event, introduced social work curriculum and admissions process to the audience and answered their questions.

On October 23rd, Columbia University's School of Social Work successfully held an information session and faculty lecture in Grand Skylight CATIC Hotel Beijing. Dr. Jeanette C. Takamura, Dean of the School, faculty, and administrators including admissions staff attended the event, introduced social work curriculum and admissions process to the audience and answered their questions. More than 40 potential applicants who are interested in this information session joined the event and got to know more about the study programs and application requirements.

After the information session, Dr. Carmela Alcántara addressed a lecture on "Sleep in the 21st Century: A Global Crisis", defining insufficient sleep, its public health consequences, and micro-level and macro-level interventions to improve sleep.
