July 22, 2017

On July 22, Hao Jiang Tian, a world-renowned bass, visited Columbia Global Centers | Beijing to join an event of "Columbia Beijing Summer" arts series. He shared his glory and hardship in the past and introduced the audience to a real world of opera.

“I’m very glad to be here today at Columbia Global Centers | Beijing and to talk with all of the old friends and new friends,” said Tian.

Tian shared his former encounters with Columbia University, and he talked about the significance of life experiences to a stage performer: “My experiences in part-time jobs back in the U.S. when I was a student directly help me with every character building, facial expression, and intended feeling on the stage.”

The event attracted nearly 90 attendees, and more than 60,000 people watched live through iFeng live-streaming.
