The Global University: Education in the 21 st Century

Professor Safwan M. Masri, Executive Vice President for Global Centers and Global Development at Columbia University, and a Senior Research Scholar at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) was our guest speaker at Columbia Global Centers | Tunis on October 24th. His lecture discussed "The Global University: Education in the 21 st Century".

Professor Masri traced the evolution of global education over the last century, focusing on Columbia University and Columbia Global Centers. He addressed the Global Centers' unique model of engagement as well as the challenges and opportunities presented by 21st century global higher education.
