Izzet Kebudi, a Turkish student at Columbia University and a member of SEAS Class of 2019, has been elected the Senator of School of Engineering and Applied Science

Izzet Kebudi, a Turkish student at Columbia University and a member of SEAS Class of 2019, has been elected the Senator of School of Engineering and Applied Science by the votes of undergraduate engineers and will represent undergraduate SEAS at the University Senate for two academic years. As a member of Senate’s Campus Planning Committee, he works closely with policies regarding physical changes on Morningside Heights campus. As a member of the Student Affairs Committee, he pursues to improve students’ quality of life at Columbia. He has passed a resolution regarding transparency of Student Council survey results and is excited to work on many other projects on upcoming semesters.

Kebudi is majoring Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and also serves at the Executive Boards of Columbia Financial Investment Group (CFIG) and Columbia Turkish Students Association (CTS).
