Kevin TU, Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy of Columbia SIPA, talks about China's energy transformation in the era of deglobalization

On April 10, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing hosted Jianjun Kevin TU, Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia SIPA, for a public talk on China's energy transformation in the era of deglobalization.

China is the world's largest energy producer and consumer. Given the scale of its economy and energy sector, as well as its weight in global affairs, the future path of China's energy industry has a tremendous impact on global energy trade and climate politics. Tu's talk addressed on how China's energy industry deal with many policy challenges, such as economic development, energy security, and environmental protection.

More than 60 people attended the event, with many industry professionals in the audience. More than 128,000 people watched the event online.
