The Santiago Center has granted five scholarships for the renowned Women in Leadership program, part of the Executive Education division at Columbia Business School. The program will take place from June 18–20, 2019, at Columbia University in New York City.

After a selective review process conducted by Columbia’s Executive Education team, five distinguished alumnae were chosen from a pool of 22 applicants. The recipients are:

  • Isabel Aninat (LAW'13), Researcher, Centro de Estudios Públicos (CEP)
  • Paula Estévez (SEAS'06), Head of International Affairs, Ministry of Energy
  • Katherine Lama (SIPA'16), Chief of Staff to the Vice Minister of Trade
  • Rosario Palacios (GSAPP'00), Associate Researcher at Universidad Católica’s Center for Educational Justice (CJE)
  • María José Pérez (SEAS'15), Director of Finance and Development, School of Engineering, Universidad Católica

These scholarships cover tuition fees and round-trip airfare, allowing each participant to fully engage in the program.

Over three intensive days, participants will gain access to evidence-based techniques and practical insights tailored to help combat performance-limiting biases and enhance women’s leadership capabilities. The workshop also offers networking opportunities with other professionals, fostering connections that extend beyond the classroom.
