In conjunction with Education USA of the US Department of State and the US Embassy in Chile, the Santiago Center held the sixth version of a pre-departure workshop for students who will begin undergraduate, graduate, intensive English studies and study abroad programs in the United States during 2019.
Topics covered include: student visas and immigration issues, important matters before departure, campus life, and frequently asked questions regarding the Becas Chile scholarship fund.
Following the event, the students accepted at Columbia University, Teachers College and Barnard College were invited to lunch by the Alumni Club to chat with alumni and clarify doubts.
