On April 13, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing hosted the fifth panel discussion of Columbia Beijing Education Panel Series, featuring Professor Su CAI, Associate Professor at Faculty of Education of Beijing Normal University and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University's Teachers College.
Professor Cai shared some educational application cases from VR/AR+Education Lab at the Beijing Normal University, including Goldman Sachs Ants (mathematics), double-slit (physics), photoelectric effect (physics), interactive material world (chemistry), the sun and the eight planets (English), rainbow (science), and 3D projection. He was also joined by lecturers from other schools online to talk about using VR and AR in the classroom.
