Tsinghua University and Columbia University jointly announced the launch of a dual degree Master’s program in Business Analytics. An agreement of collaboration was signed by Vice President and Provost Si Yuan of Tsinghua University and Provost John H. Coatsworth of Columbia University, along with academic representatives from both institutions.
This collaboration creates a world’s leading interdisciplinary program in business analytics that combines the two world-class institutions’ unique competencies. The dual degree program is designed for a length of two years (four semesters) during which students will study for a period of two semesters at each institution. The students that successfully complete the program will receive two degrees: The Master of Management granted by Tsinghua, and the Master of Science granted by Columbia. The first cohort of Tsinghua students is expected to attend Columbia in fall 2015.

In addition, this collaboration will effectively strengthen academic and research collaborations between the faculties of both institutions.”

The dual degree program will be offered jointly by the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. Through this unique partnership, both institutions aim to train high-caliber graduate students to be the next generation of global leaders.
