In the context of International Women's Day, the Santiago Center has recognized three noteworthy Chilean Columbia alumnae for their professional development and contribution to society.
Isabel Aninat (LLM'13) is one of the women selected from the more than 300 Chilean females who have passed through the halls of Columbia.
Aninat is Dean of the School of Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, with a broad and outstanding career in the study and design of public policies, being the author and co-author of numerous publications. She studied law at Universidad Católica and worked as a presidential advisor on issues of human rights, labor law, minorities and indigenous peoples. Between 2014 and 2020 she worked as a researcher at the Centro de Estudios Públicos (CEP). In 2019, she was a member of the Technical Commission for constitutional reform. She is currently also the director of the Sociedad Chilena de Políticas Públicas and a boardmember at Comunidad Mujer.
