Amman Themes

Many of the Amman Center’s programs pair Columbia University students and faculty with practitioners throughout the Middle East, working in a variety of sectors, to develop hands-on projects that promote study and expand the range of academic experiences.

The Amman Center also cooperates with partners on campus and in the region to organize conferences and workshops featuring international scholars and regional experts that focus on a variety of relevant issues. These events promote academic dialogue and help solidify the Center’s presence in the region as a focal point of relevant and intellectual engagement.
