Education Programs

Creating an accessible space for global education is a priority for Columbia University and the Columbia Global Centers. We promote knowledge exchange through a set of academic programs and internships to enable students to immerse themselves in the cultures where our centers are located. These programs enable Columbia students to study a variety of subjects and enhance their local engagement towards a complete global experience. Our centers develop and facilitate various education and learning programs in collaboration with regional partners.

We offer excellent opportunities for strengthening Columbia University's global learning mission through courses, internships, and graduate student placements. See below to learn more about the education programs available at individual centers.

Since 2014, the Rio Center offers courses in script writing for television to hundreds of students as part of the TV Writing Intensive Program. Partner's for this program include Columbia University's School of the Arts and RioFilme.
