The Harvard-Columbia World Development Forum is a collaborative student initiative between Harvard Kennedy School, Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, and Harvard Business School, aimed at convening the most outstanding leaders in academia, business, and politics to explore the path towards sustainable development in the face of global challenges. The theme of the 2024 World Development Forum is "The Inclusive Path for the Shared Future," with a focus on fostering dialogue and collaboration for sustainable development and a fairer world. The mission of the World Development Forum is to create a platform for diverse perspectives to come together and explore innovative solutions for global development. Through in-depth discussions, interdisciplinary partnerships, and intellectual exchange, the forum is dedicated to catalyzing positive change beyond borders, empowering global communities.

The Forum is co-sponsored by the Columbia Global Center Beijing.
