Speakers

David Caughlin

David Caughlin manages the overall functioning of the Center on Global Economic Governance (CGEG) and the Master of Public Administration - Economic Policy Management (MPA-EPM) program at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Mr. Caughlin oversees all recruitment, admissions, student advising, curricular affairs and alumni relations, and other related activities. At CGEG, Mr. Caughlin oversees the center’s daily administration, event administration and research projects and, with the center’s director, leads the center’s strategic planning and fundraising efforts.

Before his positions at SIPA, Mr. Caughlin worked at Columbia Law School and Central European University. Mr. Caughlin holds an M.A. in Human Rights and an MPA in International Economic Policy. In addition to his native English, Mr. Caughlin speaks Russian and Ukrainian and some Hungarian and Spanish.

Ms. B.H Musa is the CEO of BHM Holding, Ltd, one of the largest FPCs in East Africa with four divisions: real estate development, private equity investments, trade, and design. Ms B.H. Musa is also the chairman of the family foundation.

Ms B.H. Musa has an MIA from SIPA, Columbia University and B.S. from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, NYU. She has eighteen years of corporate finance, asset management, private equity, and business development experience working for and alongside Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Orange, IFC, UNDP Private Sector, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank.
