Workshop on Computational Ab initio Quantum Thermodynamics
The U.S.– Africa Initiative in Electronic Structure (USAfri) aims to create a platform for exchange between African and U.S. physicists with opportunities to impact research and education in Africa majorly. Electronic Structure is a natural choice because it is an essential part of research with applications in many fields. A network of capable African researchers has been generated by sustained efforts over the past 10 years. The American Physical Society Innovation Fund supports the U.S.-Africa Initiative in Electronic Structure.
This upcoming Workshop will foster the development of collaborations between US and Africa scientists and students. Developing collaborations is the primary goal of the US- Africa Initiative sponsored by the American Physical Society (APS) Innovation Fund.
