On November 6, the Center on Chinese Education at Columbia University's Teachers College, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing, and Peking University Education Foundation (North America) jointly hosted the International Forum on Holistic Education, featuring world-renowned scholars including Prof. John P. Miller, author of Holistic Curriculum (1988), as well as education specialists from the UNICEF Headquarters in New York, Beijing Normal University, the National Institute of Education Sciences (China), and principals from selective schools. The speakers expounded on the latest research and practice in the field of holistic education and explored valuable experiences of implementing holistic education at schools.
The webinar was live on Zoom and the Chinese streaming platform Xiaoe-Tech. In total, more than 3,200 audiences joined the live stream and engaged actively on both platforms.
