Fifty years ago in recognition of the first Earth Day, thousands of students and faculty members at Columbia University participated in workshops, speeches, and marches as part of a national environmental teach-in. Today, we're continuing in that rich tradition and celebrating the knowledge and people that are helping to guide the world onto a path toward sustainability.
