Opportunities to connect

Wherever you are in the world, Columbia alumni are never far away. From networking to programming and social gatherings, Columbia Global Centers collaborate with local alumni clubs to keep members connected to a global community of thinkers and doers.

Living in or visiting Chile, for example? With more than 700 Columbia alumni in Chile, the Columbia Global Center in Santiago hosts a wealth of discussions and social events for alumni each year. If you’re in India, drop by the Mumbai Global Center to experience events like the Writing Indian Stories series, a literary showcase that highlights the talents of Columbia alumni. In Kenya? You can attend gatherings at Columbia Global Center Nairobi, such as a book launch for a graduate of Columbia’s Journalism School. Or if China is where you are located, the Beijing Global Center offers a mix of networking events and cultural gatherings, including a New Year’s concert to blend professional development with a bit of fun.

Lifelong learning and career growth

What if your journey of growth could extend beyond graduation and beyond NYC? With Columbia Global Centers, it can. Our Centers support lifelong learning and career growth by connecting alumni to educational opportunities around the world. They connect alumni to opportunities at Columbia’s top schools, Columbia Law, Columbia Business School, and the School of International and Public Affairs. Whether you’re looking to advance your career, deepen your expertise, or explore new fields, alumni are invited to extend their Columbia experience through the Global Centers.

In addition to these academic connections, Columbia Global Centers offer a range of region-specific programs that are open to professionals, community members, and alumni alike.

In Brazil, programs like the Rio Climate Visitors Program and the Columbia Women’s Leadership Network empower professionals to drive transformation in their communities. In Beijing, the Center hosts alumni-focused events, from career fairs with Chinese companies to insight panels, helping you expand your professional network.

Wherever alumni are, Columbia Global Centers provides many opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.
