Ever thought about living or doing business in one of South America's most vibrant, complex cultures? Check out these opportunities that are not directly affiliated with Columbia, but are open to any students interested in Brazil:
The Brazilian Seminars Summer interdisciplinary program offered by Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) gives students and scholars the opportunity to learn about Brazilian life and business through a series of lectures in Rio. The seminars, to be held July 17 to August 1, include topics ranging from Brazilian culture to Portuguese language study to hot-button topics in regional politics.
In addition, PUC-Rio also offers various study abroad programs for international students.
